"A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way, and these individuals from the first day of classes, through our first competitions, and even now during Finals Week have been doing just that," head coach Kristy Trn said of her captains. "The standards they have set for their teammates, demonstrated by their own actions, have resulted in what has been an outstanding preseason and start to our regular season games. I'm very excited to continue the process with them and see where they take us!"

Shippensburg has had a tremendous start to its season, going a perfect 2-0 in conference play and a 6-1 overall record. The Raiders' next matchup is on the road against Goldey-Beacom at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
