Borough of Shippensburg issued the following announcement on May 19.
Borough Residents:
Penelec Electric Company will be doing a major electric interruption on June 9, 2020, this will be a full day of electric interruption and road closures. Location that will be affected by street closures are as following:
Orange Street Between Queen Street and Prince Street
Washington Street Between King Street and Garfield Street
(Rain date is June 10, 2020)
Length of outage would be from 8:00 am until close to 3:00 pm and would affect the following locations: East Garfield Street, East King Street, East Orange Street, Ridge Ave, South Penn Street, South Prince Street, South Washington Street, Walnut Street.
