Central Penn College issued the following announcement.
Central Penn College is offering an online, five-week telehealth course for only $500. “As more healthcare organizations and practices in our community move toward a telemedicine model, we want to be there as a critical resource for them,” said Dr. Krista Wolfe, interim vice president of academic affairs at the college.
“We know that transitioning to a telehealth model can prove challenging, especially for smaller practices, who lack the training resources of larger organizations,” said Wolfe, who has been with the college since 2006.
Originally priced at $995, the course is now being offered at $500, as a thank you to our community and healthcare workers. The session for this non-degree, non-credit course begins on Aug. 3.
For those looking to complete continuing education units (CEU), this course is approved for up to 17 CEUs for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and medical assistants who practice in Pennsylvania. For these and other medical professionals, we encourage you to check with your state licensing agency to ensure that these CEUs are approved.
