Three Men’s Soccer Players named to 2022 Division II Academic All-District

The Shippensburg University men's soccer team had three 2022 Division II Academic All-District ® honorees, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.

Sophomore Cody Willoughby is an academic sophomore who is majoring in finance with a concentration is personal financial planning. He maintains a 3.72 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) through the completion of 30 credits.
 
Willoughby started the first nine games of the season in net before suffering a season-ending injury. He tallied 38 saves this season and registered two shutouts to open the year, winning PSAC Eastern Defensive Athlete of the Week in Week 1. In his career, he has made 72 saves in 16 appearances.
 
Sophomore Avery Warrick is an academic sophomore who is majoring in marketing. He maintains a 3.51 cumulative GPA through the completion of 30 credits.
 
Warrick appeared in eight games with six starts after missing the first half of the season due to injury. In his career, Warrick has started 16-of-20 contests for the Raiders.
 
Sophomore Luke Henry is an academic junior majoring in software engineering and is seeking minors in business, data science and mathematics. He maintains a 3.82 cumulative GPA through the completion of 60 credits.
 
Henry made seven starts this season and appeared in 12 games. Through his career, he has appeared in 16 games and made eight starts.
 
The Academic All-District ® Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators.
 
All six Raiders are now among those eligible for consideration for the Academic All-America ® Team that will be announced Dec. 6.
