Census Bureau: 79.5% of people in Cumberland County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 257,333 citizens living in Cumberland County in 2021, 79.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 204,487 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 101,223 were male, constituting 49.5%, and 103,264 were female, making up 50.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Cumberland County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79.1%.
