Eight BSHS students participated in their first Susquehanna Valley Model United Nations at Solanco High School yesterday. It was the first conference students have been able to attend since February 2020! Students debated topics ranging from nuclear proliferation, global crisis in the Arctic, global food scarcity, and child soldiers. Special congratulations to William Young, who received a "Chairman's Choice" award for his outstanding participation on the World Health Organization committee. They are looking forward to continuing the debates at their next conference in December!
