Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.
This year’s Shippensburg University Homecoming celebration promises to be a special one as alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends gather for an in-person celebration starting October 20 that will reflect on the university’s 150 years of excellence. From annual favorites to new additions, you will not want to miss Homecoming 2021.
The Fashion Archives and Museum will debut an exhibit featuring 150 years of fashions at Shippensburg University on Friday, October 22 and Saturday October 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The annual Athletics Hall of Fame luncheon and Alumni Awards Dinner will take place on Friday, October 22 and Alumni Welcome is planned at the Courtyard Marriott from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Festivities on Saturday, October 23 will start with the annual ROTC 5k/10k, followed the Raider Zone-SU Tailgate before Raider Football kicks off against Millersville at 1:00 p.m. at Seth Grove Stadium. The annual President’s Postgame Supper will take place following the game on the front lawn of the Martin House. Finish the night out with the Step/Stroll Show stating at 8:00 p.m. in Memorial Auditorium.
