Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.
The Kauffman Gallery’s “Bitmap and Vector: An Exhibition of Images by Ship Design Students” features select digital images by undergraduate design students. The images represent each student’s visual interpretation of a specific theme or concept. Created using a variety of image generating programs on either desktop computers or tablets, often in tandem, the images embody an intersection of static and mobile devices in the creation of digital images that was a result from the shift in learning modalities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The exhibit is open until October 20, 2021. The gallery is open Monday through Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and other times by appointment.
