South Newton issued the following announcement on July 17.
We would like to make you aware that there will be a lady in the area selling educational books. Her emailed information is below so don’t get alarmed by a vehicle you do not recognize in your area with Wisconsin license plate. South Newton Township does not have any ordinances mandating door-to-door sales.
Hello! My name is Laura Hildreth, I am a college intern with Southwestern Advantage and will be selling educational books door to door in your township and surrounding ones from 7/19 to 8/14. I will be in a gray Nissan Sentra with Wisconsin plates AET-7987 if anyone were to mention a concern.
