A state Multimodal Transportation Fund grant of over $775,000 has been awarded to Keystone FC for improvements on Lisburn Road in South Middleton Township. This was announced by Representative Thomas Kutz and Senator Greg Rothman.

Kutz emphasized the economic benefits of the project, stating, “Making improvements to Lisburn Road will strengthen our county’s economy and drive growth to South Middleton Township.” He expressed enthusiasm about the project’s completion and its anticipated positive impact on Cumberland County and the Boiling Springs community.

Rothman highlighted the broader benefits of infrastructure development, saying, “Improving roadway infrastructure to support the development of recreational facilities is a win for all involved.” He noted that Keystone FC’s sports complex would be an asset to the region, offering opportunities for residents and boosting the local economy.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority approved funding for these grants. The CFA is an independent agency responsible for overseeing funding programs and investments aimed at fostering Pennsylvania’s economic growth.
