Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media account on October 3, 2025, to express his views on government spending and recent policy debates.
In a post published at 16:31 UTC, Perry wrote, “This government is too big and wasting too much of your money. I strongly support the efforts of President Trump and Russ Vought to gut some of these ridiculous and wasteful programs.”
Later that day, at 16:53 UTC, Perry acknowledged a meeting with an advocate for nutrition assistance: “Thanks, Andrea Faiano, organizer of Bread for the World, for meeting with me this week about the need for funding WIC (the special supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children).”
At 18:40 UTC on the same day, Perry commented on state and national budget issues as well as media coverage: “Shapiro has no PA budget since June. Media: CRICKETS. Trump has Senate Democrats holding American Taxpayers hostage to subsidize wealthy Insurance companies and bankroll free healthcare for illegals. Media: WORLD IS ENDING.”
Scott Perry has represented Pennsylvania’s 10th congressional district since 2013 after serving in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. He was born in San Diego in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
