Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to update constituents on upcoming events and share his stance on legislative issues.
On July 21, 2025, Perry announced an event for local residents: “Our next Tele-Town hall is TOMORROW, Tuesday, July 22 at 6PM. I’m looking forward to hearing from you, what’s on your mind, and updating you on everything that’s going on in DC and at home. Please call in if you can!”
The following day, he commented on immigration legislation: “If you have to explain why a bill isn’t amnesty, it’s amnesty. And I’m a No on amnesty.” This statement reflects Perry’s clear opposition to any measures he interprets as granting amnesty.
Later that same day, Perry addressed changes to the format of his tele-town hall due to unexpected interest from outside his district: “Since we now have individuals from outside of our district (and even State) flooding the Tele-Town Hall RSVP page and my office lines, and to ensure our Tele-Town Hall is for our constituents ONLY, we will not have a dial-in for this event. We will, however, be dialing OUT to”
Perry has served as the representative for Pennsylvania’s 10th District since 2013 after succeeding Todd Platts. He previously held office in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives between 2007 and 2012. Born in San Diego in 1962 and currently residing in Dillsburg, Perry earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1991.
