Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, recently shared a series of tweets expressing his views on leadership and global issues. Perry, who has been in Congress since 2013 after replacing Todd Platts, also served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
On June 14, 2025, Perry tweeted a message celebrating President’s birthday: “Happy Birthday, Mr. President. Thanks for getting America back on course, and showing us what true leadership really means.”
The following day, June 15, he acknowledged the significance of fatherhood with a tweet stating: “Here’s to the guys (past and present) with one of the two most important jobs on the planet. For all you’ve done and have yet to do, God bless, and enjoy a special day today.”
On June 16, Perry addressed a serious human rights issue through an OpEd shared via Twitter: “Ordering a set of eyeballs taken from a living, breathing person is easier than setting up an Instagram account in Communist China.” Read my OpEd @EpochTimes on my bill combatting one of the most heinous crimes against humanity in the 21st Century.” The post highlighted his legislative efforts against organ trafficking.
Perry was born in San Diego in 1962 and resides in Dillsburg. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
