Rep. Scott Perry, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, has recently shared updates on social media regarding his engagements and achievements. Perry has been serving in this capacity since 2013, succeeding Todd Platts. He also held a position in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
On May 15, Perry expressed appreciation for officers from the United States Army War College whom he met in Washington D.C., acknowledging their selection as leaders at high military levels as a significant achievement. “Always good to see some fellow (almost-)alumni of the United States Army War College – this time, in DC. Kudos to these officers for being amongst very few to be selected for the privilege to serve and lead at the highest levels of our future military.”
Later that day, Perry conveyed admiration for Kari Lake upon meeting her, commending her new role as Senior Advisor for the U.S. Agency for Global Media and recognizing her dedication to critical work. “So great to see you, @KariLake! What a true patriot.”
On May 16, Rep. Perry announced receiving an accolade from the Club for Growth Foundation: the “Defender of Economic Freedom” award along with a perfect rating. He highlighted his commitment to economic freedom over increased taxation and regulation. “I’m humbled and privileged to have earned the ‘Defender of Economic Freedom’ award and 100% rating from the Club for Growth @CFGfoundation.”
Scott Perry was born in San Diego, California in 1962 and resides in Dillsburg. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
