Rep. Scott Perry, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, shared several updates and reflections on his official X account this week, ranging from military training acknowledgments to historical commemorations.
On December 5, Perry highlighted the achievements of U.S. Army personnel and facilities, stating, “Great to see to our outstanding training grounds – and Troops – bringing ever-increasing excellence to our @USArmy missions around the globe.”
The following day, December 6, he posted a legislative update for his constituents: “ICYMI: This week’s Legislative Update from Capitol Hill”.
On December 7, Perry marked the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor with a message of remembrance: “Today we remember the day in 1941 – “…a date which will live in infamy…” when Japan launched a surprise and vicious attack on the U.S. Naval Base Pearl Harbor in HI. The relentless 2-hour assault on the U.S. Pacific Fleet resulted in the deaths of over 2,400 Americans, and”
Perry has represented Pennsylvania’s 10th district since replacing Todd Platts in Congress in 2013. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. Born in San Diego in 1962 and currently residing in Dillsburg, Perry graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
