Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his legislative priorities and recent activities through a series of posts on social media in early September 2025.
On September 3, Perry announced his support for new legislation targeting federal funding for certain animal research. He stated, “I’m proud to co-sponsor @RepNancyMace’s “TRANS MICE Act” to defund any research relating to altering the biological sex of an animal. This wasteful, disgusting animal torture must end. The federal government loves to find useless and appalling ways to waste your money, but https://t.co/uscyZVcdOA”.
The following day, Perry addressed questions from the media regarding his legislative agenda for the remainder of the year. On September 4, he wrote, “Media asked about my priorities for the remainder of the year. One big one is passing @chiproytx’s RESTORE TRUST IN CONGRESS ACT to ban congressional stock trading. I joined a Bi-partisan press conference yesterday on this matter. Public service is about what you can give – https://t.co/Sd4S0Nin4k”.
Later that same day, Perry highlighted his engagement with local business organizations alongside fellow Congressman Rep. Lloyd Smucker: “Great to sit with the York County Economic Alliance, Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, and the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce with my neighbor and colleague, @RepSmucker. It’s always good to discuss our many shared interests, concerns, and https://t.co/0cTG1SdPoI”.
Scott Perry has represented Pennsylvania’s 10th District in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Todd Platts and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
