Rep. Scott Perry, who has represented Pennsylvania’s 10th District in the U.S. Congress since 2013, recently shared several updates on social media regarding community events, legislative initiatives, and national employment data.
On July 11, 2025, Perry posted about meeting a local World War II veteran at a commemorative event. He wrote: “What a privilege to catch up with WWII Veteran (who’s 101 years young and hardly looks it!) Robert Kuhn at the Semiquincentennial Bell Commemoration at Camp Security Park in York today. They don’t make ‘em like Robert anymore. The Greatest Generation, indeed; God bless them.”
Later that day, Perry addressed his legislative priorities in another post dated July 11, 2025. He stated: “My “No Propaganda Act” – that defunds PBS and NPR – needs to be passed and enacted now. Senate needs to ACT. Propaganda does not deserve your tax dollars.”
In a subsequent update on July 11, 2025, Perry discussed recent employment statistics in the United States. He wrote: “Here are the facts on America’s comeback. In June:
-147,000 jobs added;
-Number unemployed DOWN by 222,000;
-All net job growth came from full-time work;
-Employment among native-born Americans increased by 2.1M.”
Scott Perry was born in San Diego, California in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1991 and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012 before entering Congress.
