Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on his social media accounts regarding recent legislative actions and national issues.

On July 17, 2025, Perry highlighted congressional action targeting federal funding for certain agencies: “Some great successes in Congress yesterday – after the Senate agreed to DEFUND the tax-thieving PBS, NPR, and USAID. Little by little, folks, we’re fixing America. “

Later that day, he addressed border security measures and reported statistics for June: “We’ve made the southern border safe again. June alone saw:

-Lowest level of illegal crossings in recorded history;
-Lowest monthly encounters in USCBP history;
-USCBP apprehensions at historic low;
-15% drop in apprehensions from March.
