Rep. Scott Perry, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, recently shared insights and concerns through his social media platform. Perry, who has served in Congress following his tenure in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012, engaged with his audience on various topics.
On June 3, 2025, Rep. Perry emphasized the importance of CPR and AED training by stating “Did you know that CPR and AED can TRIPLE one’s chances for survival? Learn these lifesaving techniques and you’re set for a fun and safe summer.” This tweet was posted at 13:00:56 UTC.
Later that day, at 19:32:00 UTC, Perry highlighted a significant financial concern regarding government inefficiencies by quoting a former Chief Investigator at GAO: “…the government is losing between $550B and about $750B a year. We’re coming close to $1 TRILLION lost, every year, to fraud.” He added, “Americans want their Country back.”
At 21:01:41 UTC on the same day, Perry commented on legislative processes within Congress with a challenge to his colleagues: “This is an easy test for Congress to pass. Let’s see how @HouseGOP does at getting this to the floor for a vote.”
Scott Perry was born in San Diego, California in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
