Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, has shared a series of tweets on various topics, reflecting his ongoing engagement with national issues and policies.
On July 2, 2025, Rep. Perry highlighted the geographical constraints of cocoa production by stating “Did you know that cocoa trees grow exclusively within 20 degrees of the Equator? This makes America’s chocolate industry entirely dependent upon imports.” He emphasized the importance of protecting the domestic chocolate industry which employs tens of thousands of Americans.
Later that day, at 14:36 UTC, he expressed gratitude towards President Biden for measures taken to protect women’s sports. In his tweet, he stated “Major victory indeed. Thank you, @POTUS, for protecting girls’ and women’s sports.” He also conveyed empathy as a parent regarding concerns about shared facilities between genders.

Rep. Scott Perry has been an active member of Congress since replacing Todd Platts in 2013. Born in San Diego and now residing in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, he holds a BS from Pennsylvania State University obtained in 1991.
