Rep. Scott Perry, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, has recently expressed his views on various political issues through a series of tweets.
On June 3, 2025, Perry supported Elon Musk’s criticism of House Leadership. He stated, “So @elonmusk is right to call out House Leadership. I wish I had a nickel for every time the @freedomcaucus sounded the alarm and nobody listened, only to find out the hard way we were right all along.” He emphasized the need for significant improvements from the Senate before any further actions are taken.
The following day, June 4, 2025, Perry accused President Biden’s FBI of utilizing information from the Southern Poverty Law Center for anti-Catholic surveillance efforts. He tweeted, “Biden’s FBI used the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center to carry out anti-Catholic surveillance efforts, and former Director Wray lied about it. The Deep State must be held accountable for this reprehensible violation of our First Amendment.”
On June 5, 2025, Perry criticized the costs associated with green fuel alternatives in aviation. He remarked that it is “insane to pay double or triple for ‘Green’ fuel that’s not really safe, while banning the stuff that actually works.” Perry also commented on @flywithaopa’s intentions but suggested that their approach might be detrimental to the aviation industry.
Scott Perry was born in San Diego in 1962 and resides in Dillsburg. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 1991, he previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012 before succeeding Todd Platts in Congress.
