Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on his official social media account discussing military infrastructure decisions, fiscal policy, and American history.

On September 2, 2025, Perry commented on the location decision for the U.S. Space Command headquarters: “In 2021, the USAF properly identified the Army’s Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL – our “mecca” for space and air tech – as the best location for the new U.S. Space Command HQ. In 2023, President Biden made the (solely political) decision to move it to CO – without the least”.

Later that day, he addressed government funding priorities with another post: “YES. Claw back globalist funding and return it to the Treasury (The People). This is an important step from globalism towards sanity.”

On September 3, 2025, Perry marked a historical anniversary by writing: “Today, 242 years ago, the Treaty of Paris was signed by American and British dignitaries, officially ending the Revolutionary War. America was represented by three great patriots: John Adams, John Jay, and Pennsylvania’s own Benjamin Franklin. In signing the treaty, Great Britain”.

Perry has served in Congress since 2013 after replacing Todd Platts and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. Born in San Diego in 1962 and currently residing in Dillsburg, Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
