Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several issues on his social media account on October 16, 2025. His posts included criticism of political rhetoric, gratitude for military pay protections, and concerns over an unspecified incident at HIA.
In a post published at 15:11 UTC, Perry commented on the dangers of extreme political discourse: “This is beyond breathtaking – wishing death upon your political opponent (or anyone for that matter). The harm this guy could inflict with even an iota of power/authority should concern everyone. Regardless of State, every American deserves better than this.”
Later that day at 16:20 UTC, Perry expressed appreciation for the President’s actions regarding military pay: “Thank you, @POTUS, for ensuring our Troops are paid this month – and don’t have to to worry about being caught up in Schumer’s Shutdown.”
At 17:12 UTC, Perry addressed an incident involving the Harrisburg International Airport (HIA), stating: “This is wholly unacceptable in more ways than I can count. I am in touch with the HIA Director and Secretary of Transportation to get to the bottom of this and hold someone accountable – for starters.”
Scott Perry has served in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Todd Platts. He previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. Perry was born in San Diego in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1991.
