U.S. Representative Scott Perry, who serves Pennsylvania’s 10th district, posted a series of tweets on July 23, 2025, addressing topics ranging from energy policy to veterans’ recognition and upcoming congressional testimony.
In his first post at 13:22 UTC, Perry expressed appreciation for commentator Alex Epstein’s views on energy sources: “Great thanks to @AlexEpstein for explaining how the use of reliable/affordable/renewable energy sources – like nuclear – are always the better option for low energy costs. And your common sense breakdown of the Green New Scam is really appreciated.”
Later that day at 16:31 UTC, Perry highlighted an event honoring military veterans at York Airport: “What a privilege to join some incredible Veterans – to include a SHARP, 99.6 year-old WWII Navy Vet – as they were honored at the York Airport on Monday, with a flight in a WWII-era, open cockpit bi-plane. Through a partnership with Leader Family Corporation and Dream Flights,”
At 17:44 UTC, Perry commented on forthcoming testimony before Congress by Ghislaine Maxwell: “What does Ghislaine Maxwell know? I guess we’re gonna find out when she testifies before the House Oversight Committee. Just to be sure, I requested that she be placed immediately into protective custody and monitored – by guards as well as WORKING surveillance equipment -“
Scott Perry has represented Pennsylvania’s 10th District in Congress since 2013 after serving in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. He was born in San Diego in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. Perry graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
