Rep. Scott Perry, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing topics ranging from health awareness to international security concerns.
On October 6, 2025, Perry recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a message expressing support for those affected by the disease: “#BreastCancerAwarenessMonth honors our survivors, those we’ve lost, and those warriors presently fighting this beast. Early detection saves lives. If you’re fighting, you’re in our prayers; stay strong! For those of you standing beside a friend/loved one, we pray the same for https://t.co/V85ssiYMI7”.
Later that day, he addressed concerns about Venezuelan state-backed groups: “Venezuelan state backed narco-terrorists have been waging war against us, and it’s gone unanswered for far too long. Thank you, @SecWar – and @POTUS – for putting the safety of the American People first. https://t.co/ZprKlBZ3RO” (October 6, 2025).
On October 7, 2025, Perry marked the anniversary of an attack on Israel: “Two years ago today, Hamas terrorists perpetrated the most horrific attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The abject barbarism and soulless atrocities jubilantly committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023, are yet more grisly reminders of the daily threats to the survival https://t.co/jvu8IeahcQ”.
Perry has represented Pennsylvania’s 10th District in Congress since succeeding Todd Platts in 2013. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. Born in San Diego in 1962 and currently residing in Dillsburg, Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
