On Saturday, March 15, former Cedar Cliff High School standout Matt Ilgenfritz’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, won 13-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.

The game took place at John Henry Moss Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at John Henry Moss Stadium against UNC Asheville Bulldogs.
