Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, has been vocal on social media about various issues. Perry, who succeeded Todd Platts in 2013 and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012, shared his thoughts on economic growth and other topics through a series of tweets.
On June 6, 2025, Perry expressed optimism about the nation’s economic trajectory by stating “The Land of Opportunity is BACK. Growth – at a rate we’ve never before seen – is amazing.” This tweet reflects his positive outlook on the country’s economic performance.
Later that day, Perry announced receiving an accolade from the 60 Plus Association. He tweeted “I’m so grateful to have earned the prestigious Guardian of Seniors’ Rights award from the 60 Plus Association. Our Seniors are not only a treasure but the bedrock of our society. I continue the fight to ensure your voices are heard in Washington.” This highlights his commitment to senior citizens’ rights and advocacy efforts.
On June 9, 2025, Perry commented on what he perceives as contradictions within leftist rhetoric regarding America and immigration. He tweeted “Radical Left: ‘America’s terrible, racist, and fascist.’ Also Radical Left: ‘Illegals come to America for opportunity and a better life!'” His remarks point towards perceived inconsistencies in political discourse concerning America’s image and immigration policies.
Scott Perry was born in San Diego, California in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
