Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, shared a series of tweets reflecting on recent events and issues. Perry has been a member of Congress since 2013, succeeding Todd Platts, and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
On July 9, Perry highlighted the significance of the Semiquincentennial Bell Commemoration at Camp Security Park in York. He expressed enthusiasm about the event by stating, “Big day at the Semiquincentennial Bell Commemoration at Camp Security Park in York this week. Great to see so many people eagerly awaiting the celebration of our Nation’s 250th Birthday next year – and commemorating this Liberty Bell is just the special beginning of that.”
The following day, on July 10, Perry posted a tweet expressing his views on perceived hypocrisy without further elaboration: “Hypocrisy at its finest.”
Later that same day, he addressed immigration issues with a tweet stating his stance on who should benefit from opportunities in America: “The American Dream belongs to the American People, not to illegal alien invaders.”
Scott Perry was born in San Diego, California in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
