Rep. Scott Perry, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, recently expressed his views on various topics through a series of tweets. Perry succeeded Todd Platts and has a background in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
On June 2, 2025, Perry shared his reaction to an antisemitic attack in Colorado at an event for Israeli hostages. He stated: “I’m outraged at yet another antisemtic attack – this time in Colorado, on attendees at a peaceful event for the Israeli hostages. @Netanyahu is right: ‘Free Palestine’ is the new ‘Heil Hitler.’ The coward who perpetrated this terror must be prosecuted to the fullest extend of”.
Later that day, Perry addressed what he considered misinformation by Democrats regarding Medicaid coverage: “Factcheck Correction, Democrats – because as usual, you leave out facts: Qualifying AMERICANS are still fully covered. The GOP saved Medicaid from illegal aliens and people who are healthy and able to work.”
Additionally, Perry expressed pride in participating in a commencement ceremony for Upper Dauphin High School graduates: “So proud of and impressed by these young women and men graduating from Upper Dauphin High School. I was really humbled and honored that they asked me to give their commencement address, and be a small part of the launching pad into what I know is going to be their amazing”.
