Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media addressing topics ranging from support for American industry to the anniversary of the Kabul airport attack and criticism of the Biden administration.
On August 25, 2025, Perry wrote, “This is a big win for America’s factories, workers, and farmers.”
The following day, he marked the anniversary of the Abbey Gate bombing during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. On August 26, 2025, Perry posted: “On this date in 2021, 13 United States Service Members (and 170 civilians) were murdered by terrorist cowards at Abbey Gate in Kabul while helping civilians quickly evacuate as the US began a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The selfless courage, sacrifice, and service of”
Later that same day, Perry criticized the Biden administration’s handling of child trafficking issues. He stated: “Among the many moral failures of the Biden administration, this may be the most egregious – whether due to apathy or incompetence. Thankfully, our current administration makes ending child trafficking a PRIORITY.”
Scott Perry has served in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Todd Platts and previously represented constituents in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012. Born in San Diego in 1962 and currently residing in Dillsburg, Perry holds a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
