Rep. Scott Perry, who represents Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account expressing views on the U.S. Navy and ongoing healthcare policy debates.
On October 13, 2025, Perry marked the anniversary of the U.S. Navy’s founding with a message reflecting on its legacy: “Non sibi sed patriae” – “Not self, but Country”
The motto says it all. Thanks to its birth in Philadelphia 250 years ago, and generations of tireless, relentless, superior, and selfless Naval personnel, our Nation is home to the strongest and most powerful sea warfare https://t.co/2ba7DwlXow.
A day later, on October 14, Perry addressed health insurance reform and criticized federal healthcare policies. In one post he wrote: Putting a bandage on Obamacare by rerouting more Taxpayer dollars to health insurance companies – instead of letting you keep your money – has not nor ever will be able to save this expensive and failed social experiment. We must return health insurance to the free market.
Perry continued his criticism of Senate Democrats’ approach to healthcare and government funding in another message posted the same day: Make it make sense: Senate Democrats are holding the government hostage for their two least popular policy positions: “free” healthcare to illegal aliens, and subsidizing magnificently profitable insurance companies…while you go broke.
