Representative Scott Perry, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various topics of national and personal importance.
On July 3, 2025, Rep. Perry expressed his condolences following the tragic death of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym. In his tweet, he stated: “My staff and I are horrified to learn of the drive-by murder of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym on Monday night, an intern serving in the Capitol Hill office of my friend, Congressman Ron Estes.” He further described Eric as “a young man with a very bright future.”
In another tweet posted on July 3, 2025, Perry commented on recent regulatory changes by the Trump Administration. He wrote: “The Trump Administration announced this week that it is ending more than 60 costly and burdensome regulations – albatrosses from the Obama and Biden years.” Perry praised this decision as a “pro-growth, pro-free market approach.”
Celebrating Independence Day on July 4, 2025, Perry conveyed patriotic sentiments in his message: “Happy Independence Day! Today we celebrate 249 years of … America!” He encouraged Americans to enjoy their celebrations safely and reflected on the significance of July 4, 1776.
Scott Perry was born in San Diego in 1962 and currently resides in Dillsburg. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
