Representative Scott Perry, who has served Pennsylvania’s 10th district in the U.S. Congress since 2013, has recently shared his perspectives on several pressing issues via social media. Born in San Diego, California in 1962 and now residing in Dillsburg, Perry has been an active voice in legislative matters since succeeding Todd Platts.
On June 16, 2025, Perry expressed concerns over the judicial handling of a suspect named Vance Boelter. He questioned the charges and bail conditions for Boelter, who is accused of “the alleged murder and attempted murder of two Minnesota lawmakers and their families,” as well as impersonating a law enforcement officer. Perry urged for justice to be both diligent and swift. “Charges/bail for suspect Vance Boelter certainly seem low for the alleged murder…”
The following day, June 17, Perry addressed his constituents’ demands regarding energy policies. He criticized Congress for not adequately supporting former President Trump’s initiatives to promote American energy independence and reduce costs. He described a Senate bill as a setback due to its reinforcement of “anti-energy” provisions from the Inflation Reduction Act, characterizing it as “a slap in the face.” “My constituents demand that Congress does more to support President Trump’s efforts…”
Later on June 17, Representative Perry provided an update on legislative activities from the week of June 9. His update included topics such as the passage of a recessions package by the House, discussions about LA riots, an oversight hearing revealing failures within sanctuary states, and progress related to “One BBB.” “ICYMI: Congressman Scott Perry’s Legislative Update…”
