Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, has shared his views on several topics through recent social media posts. His statements cover issues related to artificial intelligence, legislative processes, and historical commemorations.
On June 5, 2025, Rep. Perry expressed concerns about the impact of artificial intelligence on the United States government. He stated, “How will robots destroy America? One byte at a time. AI has no place in the U.S. government.”
Later that day, Perry addressed an issue involving communication with media outlets and fellow legislators regarding a bill’s readiness. He remarked, “First of all, @HuffPost: you did not contact me or my staff. To you, @RepSwalwell, and anyone else jumping on this nonsense bandwagon, I publicly stated that this bill was far from good or ready. We got it as far as we could, and if we waited any longer, we risked it getting”
On June 6, 2025, Rep. Perry commemorated D-Day by honoring those who participated in the historic event during World War II. He tweeted,“On D-DAY, June 6, 1944, American and Allied Forces stormed the beaches of Normandy… Today (and always), we honor the courage, selfless sacrifice…”
Scott Perry has been serving in Congress since replacing Todd Platts in 2013 and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
