Rep. Barb Gleim, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, recently shared a series of posts on her social media account addressing topics ranging from school safety to agricultural practices.
On July 21, 2025, Rep. Gleim commented on the issue of school safety and its influence on public opinion regarding educational options. She wrote, “The safety of the child in some schools is one of the main reasons Pennsylvanians favor school choice by a wide margin. @PaEdChoice @edchoice @shesanti @Malliard @JoeDforPA @SenatorJWard @VoteMartinaPA https://t.co/3W4j7vXGno”.
The following day, on July 22, 2025, Rep. Gleim reflected on changes in retail policy affecting farmers. She stated, “I remember when our local Tractor Supply took ivermectin off the shelf. Farmers knew it was safe at the right dosage and they weren’t conspiracy theorists. Common sense over legacy media. https://t.co/d1aynxmkK1”.
Later that same day, she posted a brief message: “Finally. https://t.co/OfFFHXFqXg”.
School choice has been an ongoing topic in Pennsylvania’s education policy debates. Advocates argue that providing families with more educational options can improve student outcomes and address concerns such as safety in certain schools.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ivermectin became a subject of national debate due to its unauthorized use as a treatment for the virus among some groups; however, it remains an FDA-approved medication for specific parasitic infections in humans and animals.
Rep. Gleim represents constituents in Pennsylvania’s legislature and frequently comments on issues related to education and agriculture.
