On Friday, May 2, former Trinity High School standout Maika Niu’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Old Dominion Monarchs.

The game took place at Bud Metheny Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Monarchs this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 3 p.m. at Bud Metheny Ballpark against Old Dominion Monarchs.
