On Friday, March 7, former Cedar Cliff High School standout Matt Ilgenfritz’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at John Henry Moss Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at John Henry Moss Stadium against Youngstown State Penguins.
