On Friday, Feb. 21, former Cedar Cliff High School standout Matt Ilgenfritz’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercyhurst Lakers.

The game took place at John Henry Moss Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at John Henry Moss Stadium against Mercyhurst Lakers.
