On Wednesday, March 12, former Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School standout Will Hummel’s current college team, the Pittsburgh Panthers, won 17-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at Charles L. Cost Field. This was their first matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium against Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
