On Saturday, April 5, former Trinity High School standout Maika Niu’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Kennedy Center Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Bob Wren Stadium against Ohio Bobcats.
