On Monday, Feb. 24, former Trinity High School standout Maika Niu’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 12-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Kennedy Center Field against Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.
