The Cumberland Perry Area Career and Technical Center (CTC) has been granted a state Competitive Equipment Grant, as announced by state Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-Cumberland). The grant, worth $60,000, will allow the technical school to purchase cutting-edge equipment for the benefit of its students.

Kutz, who represents the 87th Legislative District where the CTC is located, emphasized the importance of trades careers to the economy. The Competitive Equipment Grant program aims to support technical schools across the state by providing funds for the purchase of equipment. The Cumberland Perry Area CTC is one of 55 schools to receive an award under this program.
