Easter Hound Hunt
CHAMBERSBURG — The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter will hold their Easter Hound Hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, behind the shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West. Registration will begin at 1 p.m. or prior to the event at cvas-pets.org. Thousands of plastic Easter eggs will be stuffed with dog treats and participants are asked to bring their dogs for the hunt. Specially marked eggs can be redeemed for prizes. There will be separate hunting areas for small dogs and large dogs. Cost for participation is a minimum $5 donation to the shelter. Following the hunt, the shelter will hold an Easter bonnet contest. Prizes will be awarded in each category.
