Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier announced on April 20 that she will host her final breakfast honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel from the 88th Legislative District. The event, themed “Celebrating Our History in Preparation for America250,” is scheduled for Thursday, April 23 at the First Church of God Community Center in Mechanicsburg.
The annual tribute aims to recognize the service and sacrifices made by local veterans and those currently serving in the armed forces. This year marks Delozier’s fourteenth—and last—time organizing this gathering, which has become a tradition in the district.
Lt. Col. Devin Hammond will serve as keynote speaker for the event, while Sen. Greg Rothman, a Marine Corps veteran representing Pennsylvania’s 34th Senate District, will also address attendees as a guest speaker. Local veterans, active-duty military members, and their families are invited to attend.
Doors will open at 7:30 a.m., with breakfast beginning at 8 a.m., according to details released by Delozier’s office.
The breakfast is part of ongoing efforts within the community to honor those who have served or are currently serving in the United States military.
