Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier announced on March 27 that she will host a free assistance event to help residents of the 88th District file their 2025 Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at her district office.
The program aims to support eligible residents in completing their rebate applications efficiently and accurately. It is open to residents aged 65 years and older, widows and widowers aged 50 years and older, as well as people with disabilities who are at least 18 years old.
“Many households in the 88th District and across Pennsylvania take advantage of the state’s popular Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program,” Delozier said. “I am glad to ensure help is readily available, so my constituents can get their applications filed for processing.”
Delozier also commented on recent legislative changes: “I was also glad to vote in favor of a 2023 law that expanded the program, so more homeowners and renters could access these rebates.” This year, income limits have increased again to $48,110 for both homeowners and renters. Applicants are reminded to exclude half of their Social Security income when determining eligibility. The maximum rebate available through the program is $1,000.
Appointments are requested for those wishing to attend the event. When scheduling an appointment, Delozier’s staff will provide guidance on what documents participants should bring with them.
Residents interested in making an appointment can call Delozier’s office at 717-761-4665.
